Sabereen News, which is closely affiliated with Iran-backed militia groups, has reported casualties during airstrikes in al-Qaim near the border with Syria.
Strikes have also been reported in Jurf al-Nasr, which sits south of Baghdad.
While Sabreen has said that elements of the Iraqi PMU were struck, it is likely that Kataib Hezbollah forces were the primary target.
