France Orders $1.2 billion of Artillery, Helicopters and Vehicles

As part of the French military’s modernization plan, France’s Defence Procurement Agency ordered $1.2 billion of artillery pieces, armored vehicles, and helicopters.

France has increased its defense budget by 40%

The French government announced that it intends to remain a major world power. This comes as increased threats to French interests and influence have emerged globally. 

Multiple European countries have announced increases to their respective defense budgets in reaction to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
