On February 4, Israeli Defense Force (IDF) aircraft attacked several Hezbollah positions in the regions of Bilda and Meis el-Jabal in southern Lebanon according to the IDF.

Soon after, dozens of rockets from Lebanon crossed the Israeli border, causing rocket alarms throughout Israeli border communities and activating anti-missile systems.

The IDF reported that it had attacked the sites where the rockets were launched

This follows several cross-border attacks by both Hezbollah and Israel.

Recently, the Israeli government has ordered hospitals near Lebanon to prepare for treating a large number of casualties and it has deployed additional troops to the Lebanon border.

This is developing.
