Drone Shot Down Over Baghdad After U.S. Strike Kills Kataib Hezbollah Commander Day Before in Iraq’s Capital

Al-Arabiya has reported that a source from Iraqi security forces has said a drone was shot down in the Greenzone of Baghdad, Iraq.

This comes a day after a U.S. drone strike reportedly killed Kata’ib Hezbollah commander Abu Baqir al-Saadi and other members in the Mashtal area of the capital. Following the strike on February 7th the Greenzone had several entrances closed by security forces and additional units have been deployed in anticipation of protests or retaliatory attacks.
