Medvedev Unveils Map Showing Ukraine Split Up Amongst Russia and Neighboring Countries

While speaking at the World Youth Festival in Krasnodar, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev unveiled a map of what has described as a new reality, showing Ukraine divided up amongst Romania, Poland, Hungary, and Russia, leaving only Kyiv as Ukrainian territory.

“One of Ukraine’s former leaders said at some point that Ukraine is not Russia. That concept needs to disappear forever. Ukraine is definitely Russia,” Medvedev stated.

How “official” this map is or plans to achieve these objectives remain unclear and have never been stated before in any official capacity.

While the idea of taking over Ukraine has been reiterated several times amongst Russia military objectives, they have never included splitting up land with neighboring countries (and notably not Belarus).
