The Houthis have released a statement claiming that its forces carried out a drone and missile attack that “targeted two American warship destroyers in the Red Sea.”
Like in pervious statements, the Houthis added that “The operations of the Yemeni armed forces will not stop until the aggression stops and the siege imposed on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.”
The statement did not comment on which ships were targeted or whether the attack was successful.
So far there has been no indication of American naval assets being struck in the region.
