A tornado warning has been issued for certain counties in Ohio within the past few hours. The area under surveillance is central Ohio, with U.S. Route 42 closed north of Interstate 70. Additionally, Route 3 is closed between Genoa and Sunbury. Police have identified and located a tornado near Sunbury and Glenn Road.
The warning was in effect for Delaware County until 9:45 PM and for Licking County until 10:15 PM. Other central Ohio counties have warnings in effect until 1 AM. Videos and images of vehicles destroyed on the side of roads are surfacing on social media platforms, including Facebook. This is a developing story and will have updates in the near future.
