Al-Qassam Brigades Confirms Members Killed in IDF Airstrike, Jenin Camp, West Bank

Update (1328 EST): IDF sources have told Israeli media that one of the militants killed was responsible for the 2023 killing of Meir Tamr who was shot to death near Hermesh.

At approximately 1140 EST, initial reports indicated that the IDF conducted an airstrike in the Jenin Camp, West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported two people killed by 1152 EST, then bumping the number up to three by 1207 EST. A single vehicle was seen in flames.

The IDF claimed responsibility for the strike by 1200 EST, claiming it has targeted several militants.


By 1243 EST, the Al-Qassam Brigades Jenin Unit had confirmed that three of its members died after being targeted in Jenin Camp. Their announcement reads below:

” The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the Jenin Battalion, march to Al-Ula, the Knights of Jenin and its camp, the martyr, the Mujahid, Muhammad al-Fayed, the martyr, the Mujahid, Mahmoud Rahal, the martyr, the Mujahid, Ahmed Barakat, who rose this evening, Wednesday, Ramadan 10, 1445 AH, corresponding to 03/20/2024 AD, after a car they were traveling in was targeted in a camp.”
