According to the Luftwaffe, the German government via the Budget Committe has approved an acquisition of four U.S. PATRIOT systems to replenish the systems donated to Ukraine. The announcement reads below:

This announcement comes the same day as the Russian General Staff announced via its public Telegram channel that its forces had destroyed four U.S. PATRIOT launchers in Ukraine in the last week, a claim that has been confirmed by Ukrainian military bloggers.
The Luftwaffe announced that these purchased systems will go to the national stockpile to replenish German air defenses. However, it is not clear if the German government will plan to send these systems to replenish losses of the Ukrainian government.
