Foreign Aid Workers Killed During Apparent Israeli Airstrike in Gaza

At least four foreign workers of World Central Kitchen, an American NGO that provides food relief, were killed in an apparent Israeli airstrike that targeted their vehicle in central Gaza.

Passports recovered from the bodies indicate that Polish, Australian, and UK nationals are amongst the casualties.

Reportedly, the dead are Francom Lalzawmi from Australia, Damian Sobol from Poland, Saif Abo Taha (the driver) from Rafah, Palestine, and the last two unidentified dead, British and Irish nationals according to international respective outlets.

“The IDF makes extensive efforts to enable the safe delivery of humanitarian aid, and has been working closely with WCK in their vital efforts to provide food and humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza” a military statement said in response to the report. The IDF says they will conduct a “thorough review” to “understand the circumstances” of the “tragic incident.”
