At approximately 0945 EST, initial reports indicated that an Israeli F-15 that was involved in airstrikes in the Gaza Strip earlier today had crashed at Tel Nof Airbase, Israel after a landing gear malfunction. As of this publication, no injuries have been reported and the aircraft successfully conducted a belly landing.

Tel Nof Airbase also known as Air Force Base 8, is an airbase of the Israeli Air Force (IAF) located 5 km south of Rehovot, Israel. Tel Nof houses two strike fighter, two helicopter and a UAV squadron. The F-15 squadrons are the 133 Squadron and the 106 Squadron, they both fly the F-15C/D.
It is not currently clear if the aircraft in question belonged to either of those squadrons.
