Junta Brigadier General Soe Min Htet, commander of Brigade 44, has reportedly been killed in action during recent fighting near the 2nd Thailand-Burma Friendship Bridge in Myawaddy.
Karen National Media cited a local Thai news agency that allegedly claimed the body of the commander was being held in Mae Sot Hospital in Thailand.
