Update (1629 EST): Holloman Air Base has made the following statement:

“A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 49th Wing crashed west of Holloman Air Force Base near White Sands National Park at approximately 11:50 a.m. today.

The sole pilot on board successfully ejected and was transported by ambulance for medical care.”

Update (1535 EST): Initial claims are saying that a U.S. F-16 has crashed and the pilot ejected.

At approximately 1500 EST, local media reported that a jet aircraft had crashed near Highway 70 near Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico.

Holloman Air Force Base is a United States Air Force located six miles (10 km) southwest of the central business district of Alamogordo, which is the county seat of Otero County, New Mexico, United States. It is the home of the 49th Wing (49 WG) of the Air Education and Training Command (AETC). In addition to flying the MQ-9 REAPER drones, the 54th Fighter Group also belongs to the wing which flies the F-16.
