OCHA Claims UN is Almost out of Supplies in Gaza

The UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has released a video statement claiming that “there’s almost nothing left to distribute in Gaza.”

The claim comes several days after Israel closed the Rafah border crossing when they seized it through a military operation on May 7th. The Rafah crossing was the primary entry point for humanitarian aid into Gaza.

Since the closing, Gaza’s healthcare system has faced a supreme lack of fuel that threatens operations, and food aid has significantly diminished.

The Kerem Shalom crossing has intermittently opened and closed since May 7th.

The video released by OCHA on twitter may be viewed here.
