Local Palestinian media claims that at least 40 people have been killed with an additional 100 injured in the aftermath of an Israeli strike on Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza. The dead and wounded have reportedly been moved to the Kamal Adwan hospital.
Beit Lahia is in close proximity to Jabalia, and the Jabalia refugee camp, where Israel has been carrying out several operations in recent days.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health has yet to release a statement on the matter.
