The office of the President of Niger has released the agreement with the U.S. government for the withdrawal of American troops by September 15th, 2024. The agreement can be read in full below:
This announcement comes after U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict Maier flew to Niamey five days ago to begin talks with the Nigerien government for withdrawing U.S. troops.
