Single Day Fatalities in Gaza Above 100 for First Time in Over One Month, Per MoH

According to data published by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the death count for Palestinians in a single day went over 100 people for the first time in over a month on May 19th.

The MoH’s daily casualty report stated that, for May 19th, 106 people were killed, with 176 injured. The last time single day fatalities had risen above 100 was April 9th, when the MoH reported that 122 people were killed, with 56 injured.

This noticeable uptick in casualties comes as Israel is launching operations throughout the Gaza strip, having resumed operations in the north, in and around Jabalia, as well as expanding their operations in the south, in Rafah.
