As this publication reported earlier this morning Singapore Airlines flight SQ321 from London, UK to Singapore had to divert to Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bang Phli District, Thailand after an inflight emergency involving extreme turbulence. Initial reports listed 30 injured and one killed. The updated death and injury toll reads below:

The second death has been reported by Khao Sod as a previously injured person who succumbed to their injuries after receiving medical care. The victims were offloaded around 0650 EST and taken to nearby hospitals.
The incident occurred after the plan hit an “air pocket” which caused a sharp descent of about 6000ft.
