As this publication covered on May 19th, 2024, Ukraine carried out a large missile and drone attack on Sevastopol, Crimea. By May 21st, the Ukranian General Staff and the Ukrainian Navy claimed the Russian Navy Karakurt-Class Corvette Tsiklon was sunk, with Russian military bloggers claiming that six Russian sailors were killed and 11 were injured. The United Kingdom Defense Intelligence organization has now provided third-party confirmation that the Tsiklon was indeed sunk.
