The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella organization of Iran-backed Shia militias, has claimed responsibility for a one-way drone attack attempt against the city of Eilat in southern Israel this evening.
The IDF released a statement saying that “a fighter jet together with the air defense fighters successfully intercepted two drones that made their way to the territory of the country from the east. There were no casualties.”
Footage released by the group shows the launch of three Shahed-136 drones, suggesting that one of the drones did not reach Eilat as there were no reports of impacts.
