American military forces have reportedly suspended the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza by sea after bad weather caused damage to the causeway section of the floating pier, US and Israeli officials tell NBC.
Inclement weather had previously caused delays to the pier’s construction, which was just completed two weeks ago.
So far there has not been an official statement by CENTCOM, however, one is expected to be made later today.
