Commercial Vessel Hit by 3 Houthi Missiles, Continues Voyage in Red Sea

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that Houthi forces launched five anti-ship ballistic missiles (ASBM) into the Red Sea on Tuesday, three of which struck the Marshall Island-flagged, Greek-owned and operated bulk carrier M/V Laax.

Despite the damage, the vessel was able to continue on with its voyage. There were no reports of casualties.

Separately, CENTCOM reported that its forces destroyed five Houthi drones over the Red Sea, however, their target remains unknown.
