Iran to Supply Houthis with Ghadr Ballistic Missiles

The IRGC-affiliated Tasnim news agency has announced that Iran will supply Houthi forces in Yemen with Ghadr anti-ship ballistic missiles, which the outlet claims is “capable of presenting serious challenges to the interests of the United States and its main ally in the region, the Zionist regime.”

The exact model of the Ghadr being supplied is unclear. The Houthis already operate variants of the Ghadr, rebranded as the “Toufan.”

The announcement comes as the Houthis continue to target commercial shipping vessels in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
