al-Qassam Brigades Commander Killed in IDF West Bank Raid

At approximately 1525 EST on June 10th, 2024, gunfire and explosions were reported in Kafr Ni’ma, West Bank. Over the next twelve hours, engagements were reported between the IDF, the Palestinian National and Islamic Forces, the Palestinian Mujahideen Brigades, and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP).

By 1650 EST on June 10th, 2024, the IDF claimed it had killed four militants via direct weapons engagements.

From approximately 1700 EST on June 10th to 0300 EST on June 11th, the aforementioned Palestinian groups appealed to social media for civilians to come out of their homes and fight the IDF as well as to strike. Those strikes did take form in Ramallah and al-Biren in response to the deaths of the four terrorists.

At approximately 0430 EST on June 11th, 2024, Hamas confirmed four militants, including al-Qassam Brigades Commander Muhammad Jaber Abdo were dead. Their announcement reads below:

Mujahid al-Qassami leader Muhammad Jaber Abdo, who spent twenty years in occupation prisons,

its martyr Mujahid al-Qassami Muhammad Raslan Abdo,

its martyr Mujahid Wassim Bassam Zaidan Abu Adi,

and its martyr Mujahid Rushdi Samih Omar Ataya”
