The Islamic State- Khorasan Province (ISKP) affiliated media outlet al-Azaim has claimed responsibility for the attacks against Derbent and Makhachkala, Dagestan.
In a post to RocketChat, al-Azaim claimed:
“Our recent call did not keep us waiting long Alhamdulillah. Our brothers from the Caucasus let us know that they are still strong; they showed what they were capable of to Allahu Akbar, they came out against the infidels, they were not afraid of anything, they left this dunya and went out to fight for the sake of Allah and for the sake of exalting His words.
May Allah be pleased with them.
May Allah accept their shahada, and may Allah make this path easier for those who remain and grant them Victory!
