The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has reported that a commercial vessel has suffered “flooding that cannot be contained,” which has forced the crew to abandon ship in the Gulf of Aden southeast of Nishtun, Yemen.
The exact cause of the flooding was not immediately specified, but comes amid continued Houthi attacks against commercial shipping vessels in the region.
