Israeli Airstrikes Kill Three Syrian Army Officers South of Damascus

According to local media in Damascus, Captain Ayham Shaaban, Lt. Yasser Al-Aduj, and Lt. Ghadeer Alia we’re killed when Israeli air stickers struck the air defense battery they were operating near the Al-Ruada hote in Sayyidah Zaynab, Damascus, Syria.

Flights have been delayed at Damascus Intertnational and roads have been blocked leading to the hotel as emergency crews are claiming the flames have been extinguished.

According to sources familiar with the operation, the apparent aim of the strike was Iranian-backed militia depots near the airport, but upon activation of the Syrian air defense batteries, Israeli aircraft struck the battery.
