U.S. Coalition Conducting Raid in Jarabulus, Syria

Update (2108 EST): The United States has announced the arrest of a senior ISIS bomb maker and terrorist in the aforementioned raid.

 

Update (1849 EST): American helicopters depart Jarabulus toward Kobani area after a sharp engagement.

At least six U.S. helicopters have been spotted inserting troops in Jarabulus, Syria in what many are suspecting to be a raid on an ISIS compound.

 

 

Heavy gunfire was heard by civilians in the Ghandoura area as helicopters overflew the city and reportedly landed troops near the al- Humeira village near Jarabulus. The raid is still ongoing as of four minutes ago.
