Taliban Infighting Kills 20 Militants, Kabul

At least 20 Taliban militants have been killed as a result of infighting among the reigning group in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Approximately 8 hours ago, heavy gunfire was heard by civilians who recorded this video near the Serena Hotel.

A verbal argument was heard between two groups of Taliban militants when gunfire ensued that brought more security forces. At least 5 have been detained. The two groups apparently worked for the Ministry of Defense and Finance which clashed near the Prime Minister’s Office in the Presidential Palace Complex.

This episode, juxtaposed to the Balkhab uprising last week, ISIS attacks, ANRF attacks, and the earthquake that killed 2,000 near Khost two weeks ago demonstrates the weak rule the Taliban impose on Afghanistan.
