American citizen Dane “Bird” Partridge has been confirmed killed fighting near Severodonetsk, Luhansk Oblast. He arrived in Ukraine in mid-April and was transferred back to Kyiv after suffering a traumatic brain injury. On October 3rd he reportedly departed Ukraine via a military aircraft for the United States but succumbed to his wounds. He was reportedly injured last week by shrapnel to his head.
“Earlier, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, said that Russian troops hit the places of temporary deployment of mercenaries of the foreign legion, as well as the Bars special forces brigade of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine”- Russian State-owned media.
