Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been named the Time Magazines Person of the Year for 2022.
« Whether the battle for Ukraine fills one with hope or with fear, Volodymyr Zelensky galvanized the world in a way we haven’t seen in decades » the magazine says.
Runner-ups included the protestors in Iran, the US Supreme Court, and also Xi Jinping. The person, or group, picked is supposed to be one with the most profound effect on the world in the last year.
Last year, in 2021, Elon Musk was named Person of the Year.
