Airport Reportedly Stormed During Anti-President Protests in Andahuaylas, Peru

In the days following the removal of Peruvian President Pedro Castillo, protests against the the new President, Dina Boluarte, have erupted in the Peruvian city of Andahuaylas, which have resulted in dozens of injuries during clashes with police.

On Sunday, protestors appear to have stormed the Andahuaylas Airport amid clashes around the facility. Unconfirmed reports indicate the airport may have been seized as fires have been set to buildings.
