Explosions Reported Near Polish-Ukrainian Border

Explosions Reported Near Polish-Ukrainian Border

Date:

At approximately 1800 EST, reports began to emerge of several explosions in Yavoriv, Lyiv Oblast, Ukraine. Ukrainian air defenses reacted to what locals described as low flying Iranian drones, possibly Shahed-136s judging by the unique audible signature.

The Ukrainian government has not commented on the strike which brings suspicion that something valuable was struck. NATO aid has routinely flowed through this location along A4 from Eastern Poland. It is possible this Russian air attack targeted and successfully engaged NATO aid.

We will update if more information becomes available.
