Israel launched a raid in Nablus where they reportedly clashes with Lions’ Den militants. The IDF managed to arrest two Palestinians before withdrawing.

According to Palestinian sources, the Israeli AirForce launched several airstrikes in Gaza, likely in retaliation for rocket attacks.

Several Palestinian militant groups have released statements on the raid, with many of them vowing “resistance”. Some of them are listed below:

Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Saleh Al-Arouri:
In the name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The zionist aggression on Al-Aqsa is a major crime that our people and their resistance will respond to with full force.

The zionist aggression on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque today and the crimes committed against the worshippers and those in i’tikaf is a major crime that our people and resistance will respond to with full force, “and those who have wronged will know what they return to.”

We call on the sons of our people everywhere, especially the sons of our people in the occupied territories of 1948 who have been subjected to brutal repression, along with our people in the West Bank and Al-Quds, to respond with all their might and all means to this heinous crime so that everyone, foremost the criminal fascist zionist government, knows that tampering with Islamic sanctities will have a great price. We will burn the ground beneath their feet.

Saleh Al-Arouri

Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas

PIJ Secretary-General Ziyad Al-Nakhaleh:

What is happening in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque constitutes a serious threat to our sanctities, and the Palestinian people must be present with all its capabilties for the inevitable confrontation in the coming days.

PFLP:

The occupation forces’ storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and attacking those in i’tikaf inside it will not go unanswered, as our people will protect their land and sanctities with blood.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades:

Action will precede words.

Lions’ Den:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

“And you did not throw when you threw, but it was Allah who threw.”

This is the truth of Allah Almighty.

In the recent hours, the soldiers of the Den carried out operations on checkpoints and settlements surrounding the city of Nablus, the last of which was targeting the settler outpost and checkpoint of “Shavei Shamron” in response to the assault on the women and those stationed inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

And we say to you, O Children of Zion: if you increase [your aggression], we will increase [our response], and if you return [to attack], we will return [to retaliate].

Your brothers,

The Lions’ Den groups

Clashes are ongoing throughout Israel/Palestine, and are likely to continue for awhile. We will post updates when possible.
