Russian Brigade Flees Bahkmut after Sustaining Heavy Casualties.

Earlier this morning, the Ukrainian Third Assault Brigade claimed that the 72nd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade is fleeing the heavily contested city of Bahkmut. Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin had also claimed that the Russian Brigade was in full retreat.

According to unconfirmed casualty reports, the Russians suffered 64 casualties, some of which included Wagner mercenaries. In addition, 5 Russian soldiers were captured during the fighting.

Although Kyiv and Wagner’s CEO have reported a retreat, other agencies have yet to confirm the situation on the ground.

Update: It has been confirmed that the Russian Motorized Rifle Brigade has abandoned their position.
