In a press release issued on Tuesday, Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly confirmed the Canadian government’s plan to facilitate the evacuation of Canadians from Tel Aviv amidst the escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas.
The Details:
The operation, slated for the imminent days, will be executed using aircraft provided by the Canadian Armed Forces. Additionally, contingency plans are in motion for those unable to access Tel Aviv’s airport.
Joly emphasized that the evacuation services will extend to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, as well as their spouses and children.
Further details regarding the evacuation operation are expected to be disclosed on Wednesday.
