Iraqi Islamic Resistance Claims American Fatalities in Drone Attack


According to reports circulating around Iranian Media, the “Iraqi Islamic Resistance” has claimed at least 2-3 American soldiers were killed with an additional 6 injured in the latest of a series of drone attacks on American bases in Iraq. The alleged strike targeted the Ain al-Assad base in Anbar.

The claim has also been published by Sabereen News, a media outlet closely affiliated with Iran-backed Shia militia.

The strike, and in particular any casualties produced, has not been confirmed by the US.
