GRAPHIC: Burkina Faso Military Carries out Revenge Killing, Women and Children in Zaongo

According to local media in Burkina Faso, the armed forces carried out extrajudicial killings of civilians (almost exclusively women and children) in Zaongo. An FDS patrol reportedly came under fire on November 6th. As a result, those forces returned on November 8th and have been reported to have killed at least 100 civilians in the nearest settlement.
