The Kuwait Public Prosecution Office announced that a suspect has been detained in relation to a plot to bomb American forces stationed in the country.
In a statement, the office said that the suspect is being charged with joining a “banned organization” and “planning terrorist acts inside the country by publishing visual and audio recordings of that organization’s actions and news on social media sites in support of it.”
Likewise, the suspect has also been accused of leaning how to make explosives with other unnamed defendants.
The exact “banned organization” was not specified in the statement.
