One Federal Agent Killed in Gunfight with Traffickers, Puerto Rico

As this publication reported earlier, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents exchanged fire with suspected drug traffickers off the coast of Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico this morning. Multiple agents and traffickers were evacuated via helicopter to trauma centers in Puerto Rico. However, CBP has confirmed that on of their agents has succumbed to his wounds.

The below video shows agents being transported to the hospital in Cabo Rojo earlier today:

CBP has not released much information concerning the firefight, however, local media captured this video showing agents inspecting the vessels of the alleged traffickers.
