U.S. Volunteer Killed in Bakhmut

Wagner owner Prighozin shows the veteran ID card and purportedly the body of Nicholas Dwain Maimer, a former United States military member and now Ukrainian volunteer. According to pro-Ukrainian sources, Maimer was tortured before he was finally killed.

However, Prighozin told his social media followers that Wagner had secured the body and was preparing him for transfer to American authorities. His body was found south of Vyzvolyteliv Donbus Street after heavy fighting in the city last night.
