FARC Leader Ivan Marquez Reportedly Killed

Venezuelan intelligence sources confirmed to local media that Luciano Marín Arango, aka “Iván Márquez” (born June 16, 1955),  a Colombian guerrilla leader, and member of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) was killed during attack in Venezuela near the border with Colombia.

Colombian Intelligence announced two days ago they were investigating reports of the guerrilla leader going missing, after attending a guerilla meeting concerning the death of FARC dissidents leader Miguel Botache Santillana aka “Gentil Duarte”.
