Ukraine Dismisses Flurry of Ambassadors

President Zelensky has announced today a flurry of dismissals of ambassadors. The Ukrainian ambassadors to Germany, Norway, the Czech Republic, and India have all been announced in the last 10 minutes.

The first official announcement was of the dismissal of ambassador to Germany, Andrij Melnyk, by President Zelensky, who has been in hot water the past few days after defending a Nazi collaborator. The message reads:

DECREE OF THE PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE No. 479/2022
On the dismissal of A. Melnyk from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Federal Republic of Germany
To dismiss Andrii Yaroslavovych MELNYK from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Federal Republic of Germany.
President of Ukraine V.ZELENSKY
July 9, 2022.

There has not been an official message on the sacking of the other ambassadors, but users on social media are reporting. This story will be updated once that is confirmed.

This is developing.
