Jubba Airways Passenger Plane Crash, Mogadishu, Somalia

A Fokker 50 turboprop passenger plane crashed at Aden Adde International Airport today, injuring three passengers and rendering a runway inoperable after the left wing impacted the runway due to high winds upon landing.

The plane was inbound from Baidoa, Somalia with 33 passengers when it struck the tarmac and overturned nearly an hour ago. Emergency crews have since extinguished the fire, but the plane has been completely destroyed as wrecker crews are attempting to remove the debris.
