China Announced 20th Central Committee’s Third Plenum Will be in July

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) 20th Central Committee’s Politburo announced that the 3rd Plenum will be held in July, on April 30th.

The Politburo made the announcement during a meeting it held to discuss China’s current economic situation and deliberated on a document regarding measures and policies for advancing high quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.

The Plenary’s initial agenda will be for the Politburo to release its work report to the Central Committee as well as to study issues related to “comprehensively deepening reform and advancing Chinese modernization.”
