The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella organization of Iran-backed Shia militias, has claimed responsibility for another rocket attack against American forces at at Kharab al-Jir in Hasakah, Syria.
In a statement, the group said “The Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the American occupation base at “Abu Hajar Airport – Kharab al-Jir” in northeastern Syria, with a missile salvo, and directly hit its targets.”

Likewise, a video was released allegedly showing projectile launches towards the complex.
This marks the second attack against Kharab al-Jir in two days, which comes amid a series of over a dozen other rocket and drone attacks against other American airbases and garrisons in both Iraq and Syria.
So far, there are no reports of casualties or damage and the United States Central Command has not released a statement on the attack.
