Update: The evacuation was apparently caused by the small skydiving aircraft carrying the US Army Parachute Team to conduct a jump into the Nationals Stadium for tonight’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The US Capitol Complex is currently being evacuated due to “an abundance of caution” according to the Capitol Police who said there is currently no threat to the Capitol.
