In the last 24 hours heavy fighting has been reported as the Ukrainian General Staff has announced that Russian Ground Forces are attempting to seize their two operational goals of Bakhmut and Siversk in order to push deeper into Donetsk, especially Kramatorsk and Slovyansk.
This morning the Ukrainian General Staff claimed to have repelled Russian assaults in the villages of Ivano-Darivka, Hryhorivka, Novoluhanske, and Semyhirya, which are apparoximatley 10km southeast of Siversk, just over the border of Luhansk Oblast. Russian state owned media has also reported on the movement of Russian troops in the area. Including this video of a BMPT Terminator, which is designed for urban combat with is heavily armed and armored to survive in urban combat. The AFV is armed with four 9M120 Ataka missile launchers, two 30 mm 2A42 autocannons, two AG-17D grenade launchers, and one coaxial 7.62 mm PKTM machine gun.

Northeast of Slovyansk, the village of Bohorodychne is also heavily contested, representing the third side of the Ukrainian pocket in Siversk-Bakhmut.
