Hezbollah has confirmed that Ali Hussein Burji, commander of the group’s aerial forces in southern Lebanon, was killed today during an Israeli airstrike in Khirbet Selm.
The strike coincided with the funeral of Jawad al-Tawil, deputy head of Hezbollah’s “Radwan” special operations force who was killed during an Israeli strike yesterday, and followed Hezbollah drone strikes against the IDF Northern Command base in Safed earlier today.

Clashes between the two will continue top escalate as Hezbollah vowed that strikes against their leadership will not go unpunished, leading to fears of a widening conflict along Israel’s northern front with Lebanon.
